Information handled

NFC Lab processes tag UIDs, supported technologies, NDEF content and public EMV application identifiers and names on your device. Writing records text or URLs you enter and explicitly confirm onto the target NFC tag.

Collection, storage and transmission

The app does not send read information or entered content to the operator's servers and does not store it in files or databases. It uses no advertising or analytics SDKs, accounts, location, contacts or camera permissions. It does not request payment card numbers, expiry dates or transaction records.

Content you write to tags

Content you confirm for writing is transferred to the target NFC tag and remains there. This is a user-requested action, not collection by the operator. Other people who read that tag may see its contents. Do not write information you want to keep private.

Retention and deletion

Read results are processed temporarily in app memory and on screen. You can clear results or terminate the app process. The operator retains no scan data. Clearing results does not erase a physical tag. Writable tags can be overwritten with other content.

Permission

NFC permission supports reading and confirmed NDEF writes. Backgrounding the app stops scanning and cancels pending writes. Writes already started cannot be undone.

Children and accounts

The app is not designed for children and does not offer account creation or separately collect age-specific user information.

Website hosting

This website is hosted on Netlify. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request information to serve pages. We do not add advertising or analytics tools to this website. This notice is separate from the Android app policy above.
